Playback
| Keys | What it does |

| Space | Play or pause |
| J | Play backwards (press again to go faster) |
| K | Pause |
| L | Play forwards (press again to go faster) |
| ← or → | Step one frame back or forward |
| Shift+← or Shift+→ | Step 10 frames back or forward |
| ↑ or ↓ | Jump to the previous or next edit point |
Tools and edits

| B | Blade tool |
| Q | Connect the selected media above the storyline |
| W | Insert the selected media into the storyline |
| E | Append the selected media to the end |
| I | Set the in point |
| O | Set the out point |
| M | Add a marker |
Cutting and deleting

| CmdCtrl+B | Split at the playhead |
| Delete | Delete the selection |
| Shift+Delete | Ripple delete (close the gap) |
| CmdCtrl+Z | Undo |
| Shift+CmdCtrl+Z | Redo |
View and project
