Effects
Add effects to a clip, stack them and tune each one.
Effects change how a clip looks. You can use one or stack several.
Add one
- Select a clip.
- Open Effects (in Porunga, the Effects tab of the effects panel). There are 47 effects, in groups: Blur and sharpen, Light, Retro, Glitch, Stylise, Colour, Distort, Motion, Frame and shadow, Keying and masks and Time. Each tile shows your own footage with the effect on it, and you can search by name.
- Click an effect to add it to the selected clip, or drag it onto a clip.
- Change its settings. The viewer updates as you go, even while it plays.
Stack and order
The Effects section of the Inspector lists every effect on the clip. Use the plus button to add more, drag the grip to change the order, or use the switch beside an effect to turn it off and compare. Each effect has its own settings, such as sliders, switches, colours and choices.
Animate an effect
In Porunga, effect settings can have keyframes, so they can grow, fade or move over time.
Remove
Choose Remove beside the effect in the Inspector.
