Install Kaptcho on Windows

Kaptcho runs on Windows 10 and 11 on 64-bit (x64) PCs.

Install

1. Subscribe on the Viremail Store, then choose Download.
2. Open the downloaded installer (.msi or .exe).
3. Follow the steps. Kaptcho appears in the Start menu when it finishes.

If Windows shows a blue notice

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say it protected your PC. Signing is coming soon. Until then:

1. Choose More info.
2. Choose Run anyway.

You only need to do this for the installer. If you hit trouble, see Kaptcho will not open on Windows.

Sign in

On first open, Kaptcho asks you to sign in with Viremail. See Sign in to Kaptcho.
